   If, indeed, there was any Ishmael, Abraham or anyone else in the story.   
   Abraham is supposed to have gone to the land of Moriah, where Jerusalem   
   (presumably later) stood, but there is no mention of a city.  If it was   
   that along ago, how did anyone know the story after writing was invented.
