Oh so rich & successful JTEM to All
What if we ended the Glacial / Interglac

We can do it, you know. Human beings do have
the technology and the knowledge necessary to
end the Glacial / Interglacial cycle. We can,
in a sense, dictate our climate.

...imagine a world where humans never have
to worry about a return of mile-tall glaciers,
wiping clean most of northern Europe and North
   America?

   Awesome, right?

But, what was the planet like before it entered
the Quaternary Period, our present ice age? What
was the climate like before the Glacial /
Interglacial cycle began? The answer may surprise
   you.

Think of everything the hysterical "Global Warming"
crowd warns about. Think of all those doomsday
scenarios of warmer temperatures and higher sea
levels. Well, those are normal. Those are the planet's
norms. Restoring the earth to it's pre ice age
norms means creating everything the lunatic "Global
Warming" crowd is trying to avoid.

Yes, the "Global Warming" crowd is actually upset at
the thought that glaciers might not bulldoze most of
western civilization. That is there fear: Western
   civilization will survive!

We're overdue for another glacial period, what is
colloquially referred to as an "Ice Age." It's overdue.
Most Interglacials, like the one we are inside of
right now, only lasted about 10k years. Ours is
popularly dated to almost 12K years ago and if we
factor in the Younger Dryas Cooling, which lasted for
over a thousand years, our present Interglacial is
   really about 15k years old.

Again, most Interglacials only lasted 10k...

So "Warmer" would be nice. "Warmer" would be a good
thing, a *Very* good thing. "Warmer" is the planet's
norm. And, quite frankly, the only alternative to
making the planet warmer is awaiting the next (already
   overdue) Glacial period ("Ice Age").

Nobody in their right mind would ever choose anything
   but "Warmer."

Too bad Global Warming hysterics is built on myth, not
science. Because, we could really use some global
   warming...
