   the sahara desert. But the only way to tell if the   
   sahara desert was delayed or not is to establish in   
   some way how long such changes should take to occur   
   WITHOUT human activity. And to do that you have to   
   study the previous interglacial, and then compare those   
   results to the present interglacial.
