   The problem is in the Mediterranean as it is shallow and warm little   
   organic lasts but the Black Sea is anoxic below 200 meters so anything   
   requiring oxygen can't live, e.g. fish, sea life, bacteria, etc.   
      
   Unfortunately as the Black Sea was a Greek sea, there will be little from   
   the era from the phoenicians there.
