Stalin never       intended to kill off the Ukrainians, neither did the British intend to kill       off the Irish nor Indians.              The other issue is that the famine in Ireland was not man made, and the       Bengal Famine could be argued that it was a result of WW2, but I think it       should be considered an act of incompetence.
