   Also their claim is that there was a rebellion and the deaths were war   
   deaths, though the truth of this would be difficult to ascertain.  After   
   the war Greece ill-advisedly (by Classically educated Englishmen)   
   invaded, and not only were the troops driven out, but Anatolian Greeks   
   whose ancestors had been there for centuries.  Stuff happens.
