   Well it seems to me, at this point, that the nationalist movements had   
   to take place after 106 CE (AD), when the Romans annexed the   
   Nabataean kingdom. This gave "The Arabs" every reason in the world   
   to want to fight Rome, and the Samaria put God on their side...   
      
   I dunno. In some ways it's too clean, too simple.   
      
   But, the Bible is backdated, Samaria's temple is demoted and the
