   This one will run and run.  Many archaeologists /not/ identifying as   
   Biblical archaeologists, eg Kimche, fit anything they work on into the   
   consensus timeline.  Simon Sebag Montefiore, supposedly a historian, has   
   made a tv series on the History of Rome, and treats the legend of St   
   Peter as fact.
