From: jtem01@gmail.com              In science, in real science anyway, language is a very important       tool. It has to mean precisely what you intend for it to mean, and       it has to mean the exact same thing for everybody.              "Climate Change" is used interchangeably with "Global Warming"       which is used interchangeably with "Man Made Global Warming       During an Ice Age, Caused by Fossil Fuels Despite Their Known       Cooling Qualities."              It's not precise language. It doesn't convey any specific idea that       applies to ancient times. And what's worse, it's communicating       precisely the opposite of the facts, as catastrophic changes in       climate normally result from volcanoes, which are COOLING       engines.              So, while the masses have been trained to react towards any       instance of "Climate Change" as if it's a reference to "Man Made       Global Warming During an Ice Age, Caused by Fossil Fuels       Despite Their Known Cooling Properties," and this is a reference       to COOLING-Induced drought, even you might potentially see       the problem?              We've reached a point where the masses are so well trained that       the more information they are given the less they know...              This is quite similar to what occurred during the Dubya Bush years,       when the more "News" people absorbed on Iraq & WMDs, the less       they knew.                                          -- --              https://jtem.tumblr.com/post/189029706213              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
