   This is pretty basic stuff:   
      
   If you lend me $100 and I pay you back $80 then you're not $80 richer,   
   you're $20 poorer. If the earth lost 1C or more during the little ice age,   
   and then gained back as little as 0.8C., that means we got cooler. Not
