   Selective breeding is obvious.   
      
   That's not necessarily the case with plants.   
      
   I dunno. I have not seen any studies of primitive cultures where   
   they cross pollenated plants.   
      
       ...would seem more the happy accident. Like, planting two   
   types of crops near each other. Maybe in that semi settled   
   stage, bringing some seed to a new field... mingling... cross
