   Smacking my forehead, how could the 9 or so authors, professional   
   scientists one and all  have been so obviously ignorante about the "little   
   ice age"?   
      
   They must be informed straight away so they can entirely redo the results   
   of their research, no?   
      
   They will be ever grateful for learning of this to them entirely new   
   dattum point as it puts a new light of the millions of years of data they   
   considered.
