   The simple answer is that they aren't, and that the piece is pure   
   propaganda and not science.   
      
   It's not the first, tenth or one thousandth such example.   
      
   I know I lost faith back in 2006. I was always skeptical, and I knew   
   that things were bad but I never saw how bad until 2006, in the   
   example of AIDS and the Oral Vaccine Theory. The CDC had a webpage   
   (since nuked) that was pure rubbish -- 100% PR and zero science fact.   
      
   It misrepresented everything.   
      
   Having seen the CDC do it, I have been unable to be surprised by any   
   of the other examples -- like the "Media study" that blamed Al Gore   
   for the 2000 debacle in Florida, or all the "Intelligence Reports" telling   
   us about Saddam's WMDs and involvement in 911... or even all the   
   "Studies" proving that there had been no interbreeding with so called   
   moderns & Neanderthals...   
      
   Nope.   
      
   And not that it matters, or that you're capable of researching a   
   goddamn thing on your own, but the last interglacial was   
   significantly warmer, sea level was at least 5 meters higher and   
   it achieved all this in about 2,000 to 5,000 years LESS TIME
