They migrated with the seasons. It's       very likely that they were accumulating grain every year, as the previous       harvest wasn't exhausted.              Remember: It lasted years!              Why invest in Temples? They didn't live there as far as any of us know.       But the place was blanketed with wild grains! As I said, one man might       collect enough to feed his entire family for a year, after only a few weeks       of work. They were collecting WAY more grain than they could possibly       use, and they couldn't lug it around somewhere... granaries!              The gods would only be needed to watch over and protect their grain,       as well as ensure a great harvest.              > plus if they did, I doubt they would store it in a public place.              Who said it was public?              The population was sparse, to say the least. A Documentary series       I recommended not too long ago estimated that the entire population       of the Levant was maybe as high as 2k people. And I don't mean       israel or Judea I mean the Levant -- the whole thing.                                                        -- --              https://jtem.tumblr.com/post/618750513618534400              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
