   What you got wrong, or at least didn't grasp, is that there   
   was a market for the grain produced on the farms. The   
   food was heavily subsidized -- the grain dole, "Bread &   
   Circus" -- so the wealth  of the  individual was driven by   
   the poverty of the masses.   
      
   THE MORE POOR PEOPLE, ON THE GRAIN DOLE, THE   
   MORE SUBSIDIZED GRAIN WAS IN DEMAND!   
      
   Room was a society dying of cancer. While every jackass   
   on the planet explores the so called "Mystery" of why it   
   fell, the actual mystery is why and HOW it succeeded for
