   Even the bible had the Jews of the Roman period stoning uppity women to   
   death...   
      
   It was a brutal period in human history. Period. The Romans were only   
   "Brutal" in comparison to modern cultures -- and even then not all modern   
   cultures -- but not the least bit "Brutal" in comparison to their peers.   
      
   Actually this is pretty typical of the worthless "Facebook" generation, where   
   is judges the past by the standards of the present, believing that this makes
