That was my first impression;       that they're WAY younger than has been speculated,       maybe half the age thrown about in the media.              ...younger than habilis, younger than erectus.              The 19th century linear model never even occurred       to me. I never once thought that they might be a       "Missing link," that they were an ancestor.              So, yes, that was my immediate impression.               |
