Hi, all!

13:30 here - I'm just getting up!

I think, after reading all your messages, we have a wonderful opportunity to
restructure the file and echomail star system. Anything we do can be blamed on
the necessary changeover!  Having said that, I think it's important that we
remain a "behind the scenes" operation for the most part. I'd like to suggest
some next steps:

1) Cross connect all of us 5 stars to everything, so we all get all echomail
and file areas (including new ones) automatically. Let the software take care
of the dupes and if you wish, run in pass-through mode -- as long as we send
everything we receive.

2) Make sure we all know the right keywords for each other's software. E.g.,
I'm using AREAFIX and ALLFIX (or FILEFIX) to trigger my processing.

3) Let's talk about WHY we exist as a star -- what is our purpose for FidoNet,
given that anyone can connect to anyone else? (I have some opinions, but I'll
keep quiet for now! )

4) I'd like to just comment that most of you are far more technically
competent that me, and I will gladly take advice on anything I'm doing here
(but it has to be 32bit windows! )
