Charles,

CS>Wow! What are the odds! I know you gotta be playing the lottory more often
CS>now! :) You are SUPER lucky it wasn't fatal, or did more physical harm.
CS>I've read about people getting hit and losing limbs... fingers, arms..

Or losing their lives. And, lightning is known as "the under-rated
killer". Lightning can strike from 20 to 200 miles from the parent
thunderstorm. I heard of one case, where a child was walking along
railroad tracks (which is trespassing anyway), and lightning hit the
rail several miles away. The current traveled down the rail to the
child, killing him instantly.

CS>I'm sure in your case, it gets ALOT worse with age..

It does, unfortunately. I'm down with a bad head and chest cold right
now, so I'm doing the very minimum with the BBS and the computer. I
slept much of today. I hope I can sleep tonight...but right now, I have
very little energy.

Daryl
