BK>> Anyone still monitoring this echo. Do any of you use an AM radio BK>> with a short wave converter? I am looking for schematics for BK>> shortwave converters. KW> Sorry I can't help, but I'm curious to find out what a KW> short wave convertor does? KW> I listen to SW and got hooked on AM DXing when I was taking KW> care of my newborn daughter and spending way too many early KW> mornings awake. A short wave convertor converts the shortwave broadcasts to a frequency within the medium wave radio bands, so you can listen to SW broadcasts on a medium wave AM radio, such as an ordinary AM/FM table radio. They used to be common, but I never bothered with one. Now that I am retired I am interested in getting back into SWL and would like to have a converter for one of the nice table radios I have.
