KW>> BK> Anyone still monitoring this echo. Do any of you use an AM radio

KW>> BK> shortwave converters.

KW>>Sorry I can't help, but I'm curious to find out what a short wave convertor

TW> It down converts the Short Wave Frequnecy to one that is in

KW>>I listen to SW and got hooked on AM DXing when I was taking care of
KW>>my newborn daughter and spending way too many early mornings awake.

TW> In my younger years that was a very popular hobby, Staying
TW> long after sunset to catch AM DX

I have managed to compile a number of SWL convertor schematics.
One goes back to 1955, and is very interesting in the way it
couples the osc output to the convertor stage. Though the
 transistor used is long obslete.
