Cool!  Gald i could help.  IT's easy to get bogged down when looking at all
those antenna references, but everything has
trade offs, so until you really know what you want to
concentrate on sometimes you're trading away more enjoyment
by really chasing it.  YOur long wire will give you plenty
of enjoyment, then if a particular service and frequency
really sparks your interest you can concentrate your efforts on an antenna for
that frequency.
