Bob,

I'm reading it, but I don't really do SWLing. However, I run, or check
into a Packet, Echolink, D-Star, or D-Rats Ham Radio Net on a nightly
basis. In fact, I think I'm up to 18 for the week now...plus, I
administer ham radio license exam sessions twice a month in ham radio.

I wonder if I need something else to do in the hobby?? (hi hi).

Seriously, I used to have a Bearcat 210 XL Scanner long ago, but it's
long gone. The prices for these items nowadays are ridiculous...and many
of the entities are now going from analog to digital communications,
which increases the price of the scanners.

I saw a message the other day, where Main Trading Company, out of
Paris, Texas, had gotten in a limited supply of scanners from a now
defunct company...and was selling them for "bargain prices". Too bad I
have medical and other bills to take care of, or I would've been
strongly tempted to buy one. However, they may have sold out of most, if
not all, of these by now.

Daryl, WX1DER
