Sounds like when you try to run 'scfg' it doesn't know where to look for those
.ini files.

Try 'export SBBSCTRL=/path/to/sbbs/ctrl' before you run 'scfg'.

See https://wiki.synchro.net/config:env for how to set it properly so you
don't have to manually type it every time.
