well, i haven't really thought that through. I guess thats a decision every
sysop has to make for him/herself at one point. to break the backwards
compability or not. That would mean, if you want to have any kind of ansi
animation, that would be problematic for non-ansi terminal users?

what do you think would come out if we would create a statistic for
non-Ansi/Ansi Terminal use? Who would actually want to or have to use a
non-Ansi terminal?
