FYI, there is a setting in Thunderbird under the account settings that forces
authentication every time you connect. After you input the name and password
the first time, Thunderbird will save it under "Saved Passwords" so you don't
have to manually enter it every time.

Still, I would recommend to continue using the '-na' option.
