mm looks for it in the mmail/down directory by default. Then when you have
saved written messages, the REP packets ends up in the mmail/up directory by
default.

At the beginning of a second 'putpkt' script, I change to the mmail/up
directory.

Then here I change back to the mmail directory, where the two scripts are
located.
