 There's a learning curve for all BBS software, 
 I ran PCBoard 15.x in the 90's, You didn't have to learn how to create PPE's
but it was extremely helpful to learn.
 Likewise Mystic has it's own programing language and compiler.

 Not sure why you're asking for help when you have no intention of running
Synchronet??? the documentation is pretty well organized and easy to
understand for me.
