logon.asc and logon.ans is still supported, but you could try renaming
logon.asc to logon.msg and see if that makes a difference.

Did you change your logon module (configured in SCFG->System->Loadable
Modules) by chance? Or maybe you have a modified logon.js being run (e.g.
mods/logon.js) instead of the normal/stock exec/logon.js?
