Regarding #1, yeah, lines 1628-1629 do that... maybe I couldn't figure out how
to do that? I'll take a look at some point.

Not sure what #2 is, I don't seem to have any File → View → Search things,
and in File → Search for Text in Descriptions, I don't see what you're
describing.

As for #3, yes, it's a duplicate. It's both a "Message" thing and a "View"
thing.

Regarding #4, a quick look seems to show it does this:
