   I guess that you would not want us to take this sentence too literally.   
   That the experience of a human being is recorded in that human's nerve   
   cells (as a whole, not individually) is probably not controversial. The   
   experience of that human being, however, clearly involves his/her   
   physical attributes and their history, and interactions with the world   
   and its inhabitants.
