|    Not religion but supernaturalism    |

From: cj.mccormack@btinternet.com              It is not religion that holds us back as such. It is the determination to       cling to outated and destructive concepts of supernaturalism and       superstition that is stunting Human potential in our age.              How can we be guided in our morals and actions by concepts dreamed up       centuries ago to explain things that we have since had explained to us by       Human Science and ingenuity.              The followers of all the superstitious (theist) Religions need to wake up to       this. It is not Religion per se that is problematic. In fact Religion can be       the most powerful social 'glue' in the world but it's basis must be true and       observable.              It must be a means, not an end.              SoC              Coming soon - L I B E R H U M A N U S              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
