From: ralph@eddlewood.demon.co.uk              I have just listened to the first of this year's Reith lectures, named       for the founding father of the BBC, and delivered by the world celebrity       pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim.              Most of these lectures are delivered by world leading philosophers or       scientists or statesmen. Barenboim's are very different from these,       being so deeply motivated by his humanity. I thoroughly recommend them.              You can get them through a podcast available on www.bbc.co.uk/radio 4              Good listening!              --       ralph              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
