   Hi everyone,   
      
   I am new to this list.   I do recognize a few names from the various   
   buddhist lists which I ordinarily frequent.   
      
   I recently came across a copy of "Humanist" magazine and loved everything I   
   read there, which then led to me to subscribe to the magazine and   
   subequently to search for discussion groups on the subject.   It seems I   
   have found a group of folks who think much as I do!   
      
   I will probably be lurking for the most part for a while, but hope to become   
   more of a regular here.
