XPost: talk.religion.buddhism       From: nojunk@nojunk.co.uk              > But obsession with the economic growth is dangerous. It was not that       > bad when America alone is experiencing the growth and the whole world       > is fueled the growth. But now China is doing the same, everyone want to       > do the same. Where are the fuel going to come from? May be from next       > planet.              What's both amusing and irritating is the opportunities presented by this       difficulty remained hidden to business until the both government, backed by       the Stern report, and people, backed by the environmental argument, rumbled       them. So much for our Masters Of The Universe.              This is a very difficult situation but the growth obsessed, winner takes       all, and inefficient American attitude may be trimmed in time, as other       countries improve themselves in similar or other ways. There will be some       pain but, overall, I don't think there's anything to sweat about.              --       Charles E.
