Virtually every person brought up in a 'care home' will spend time in
prison. Well over half of the people currently in prison were brought up
'in care'. If a same sex couple, either men or women, adopted a child
tomorrow so that he or she did not have to go to one of those hell holes we
call 'care homes' it would be a damn good thing.

In the UK it is perfectly legal for a single person to adopt a child, and
quite few do so, saving a person from a low quality life. It is illogical
to refuse a couple to do the same.

It is a great pity that children exist who for various reasons can not be
brought up by one or both of their own two loving parents. If I were being
crude, I would point out that you were trying to entrap them into hell holes
instead of allowing them a decent life.
