   Oh dear. You mucked it up. I had thought that you deliberately included   
   those (diametrically wrong) allusions for the sake of irony, which was why I   
   thought it gentle humour. Your scientific friend has spoilt your poem with   
   pedantry.   
      
   I will give you an example: the following poem was written by a clever man   
   (Milligan), is wildly incorrect in its science, and could only be ruined by   
   any alteration:   
      
   There are holes in the sky   
   Where the rain gets in   
   But the holes are very small   
   That's why rain is thin.
