You are a good example of someone who has been hijacked, the way you bunch
   all those aspects together.

To believe there is or isnt is merely speculation. You exist. No belief
   necessaary.
The question of the depth of your knowledge and awareness of self, your
existence, has no more to do with religion as it is with science or
   philosophy.

Sure, afterlife and the speculation of this area has been religionised, and
   thats the problem.

We, as a community, are far more sophisticated than to believe such dogmas,
but the "anti belief" can stop the individual searching because of such
unneccesary and by definition, unassociated connections.

"Know thyself" is just as valid today as it ever`was.
