XPost: alt.consciousness.mysticism, talk.religion.newage, talk.religion.misc       XPost: alt.religion       From: dalton@nfld.com              I just posted this to alt.love and figured I would share it       here as well though I have mentioned it before on these groups.              Here are some excerpts from my Salmon on the Thorns web page:              I don't care what anyone believes as long as they are loving,       or try to be as much as possible within constraints of life.              The fundamental is love (love as defined by the one receiving       this message, including myself when I read it though I am not       receiving it from myself); however this can not be always       achieved and so one must at least strive for love. Messages       that conflict with that sentence must be discarded or edited       to no longer conflict.              I define LOVE as the someone or something that is not a       someone that is highest in goodness measure as defined       by my top-ranked deity ALL. I define LOVE2 as the       someone highest in goodness measure as defined by ALL.       Thus if LOVE is a someone then LOVE=LOVE2. You can       look at LOVE as ALL's love or ALL's law of love, and       LOVE2 as the personification of that love or law of love.              But obviously ALL is not LOVE. I also say that no       someone can be both all powerful and perfectly loving.              --       David Dalton dalton@nfld.com http://www.nfld.com/~dalton (home page)       http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/nf.html Newfoundland&Labrador Travel & Music       http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/dtales.html Salmon on the Thorns (mystic page)        "Here I go again...back into the flame" (Sarah McLachlan)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
