XPost: alt.atheism, alt.agnosticism, sci.skeptic       XPost: alt.christnet               As we all know and some of us are not ashamed to admit, atheists have long       and consistently been whining and claiming that there is supposedly "no       evidence" of God's existence, and nothing on this planet that suggests anything       other than random chance, ie no superior intelligent being(s) of any kind, have       ever had anything to do with the development of the planet or any life that       exists here. When challenged directly and specifically about the supposed       evidence they think should exist if there is some sort of God associated with       Earth, not a single one of them has been able to give a realistic explanation       as       to WHAT sort of evidence they think there "should be", WHERE they think the       evidence "should be", or WHY they think it "should be" to God's benefit to       provide us with the supposed evidence. Since atheists can't even attempt to try       to explain what they want people to think they think they're trying to talk       about, anyone who's curious about it must try to guess what they think they're       trying to talk about. Maybe they think there should be a huge plaque somewhere       saying something like: This Planet Developed By Holy Terraforming LLC? What       else       could they think they want? Some sort of invoice? Maybe a type of users'       manual,       telling us how to adjust weather conditions etc? Some of them seem to think if       God existed there should be no suffering, so maybe they think suffering is some       type of force that can be adjusted? Maybe they think there should be a huge       adjusting knob that can be dialed down, or a series of knobs so it can be       adjusted to different levels in different areas? They also often seem to think       God would use "magic" because none of them seem able to comprehend this quote       which is one of the basic starting lines none of them can get as "far" as:              "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." -       Arthur       C. Clarke              Dealing with people so restricted in their thinking, so unable to think things       through, and so unable to reach basic starting lines associated with this       topic,       it's hard to try to think down to their level and try to figure out what they       want people to think they think they're trying to talk about FOR THEM, since       they're unable to do it for themselves.              disclaimer: the stupid bullshit about God re-growing amputated limbs on demand       does not count              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
