Ah yes. I do recall when Nima Sadra Hazini aka NUR aka "Wahid Azal" (lol) was   
   making claims to be a Twelver Shi'ite Muslim and making such claims for the   
   Babi community as well.    
      
   This righteous defender of orthodoxy (tongue firmly on cheek, of course)   
   seemed to vacillate between cursing Sahabas or cursing those who curse them.   
   He does have a habit of (ineffectively) cursing.    
      
   Now since earning Mr. Hazini's ire I have honestly become fascinated with   
   Babi/Baha'i Studies. I once thought them of little import although I had no   
   problem with them either. Now I've been doing a lot of reading and find the   
   subject very interesting,    
   and all the more so because our unstable majnoon friend here makes it so. I   
   would genuinely like to know if REAL Babis still exist and if so if they have   
   ever heard of an authority in their religion known as Nima Sadra Hazini or   
   "Wahid Azal" (tee hee).    
   My suspicion is no but I am open minded.   
      
   I do believe the Babis have made deliberate decisions to follow the Bab's   
   abrogation of Islamic law and so this does de facto and de jure cause a rift   
   with standard Islam. I am not sure Shi'a clerics would be too friendly to the   
   idea that one can be both    
   Islamic and Post-Islamic on a whim or mood swing the way our easily baited and   
   ignited chum here tends to be.    
      
   However NWA ("Nima Wahid Azal" lol) seems to be adept at one thing: stretching   
   a little bit of knowledge about a lot of subjects into a device for amplifying   
   perceptions of his intelligence and accomplishments. This Alt-Scholar of the   
   PodCasts and    
   Blogosphere probably has no idea what he is talking about. He took a niche   
   subject like Babi Studies and the Persian Bayan and tried (unsuccessfully, in   
   keeping with other life patterns) to weave it into a cult amenable to   
   Westerners while simultaneously    
   pretending to be a revolutionary supporting social justice. In fact he's just   
   another Westoxified Iranian emigre, spoiled by Mama Joon and Baba's money,   
   with an inflated ego and a brain turned to swiss cheese by the rampant abuse   
   of psychotropic drugs,    
   pushing a Neo-Colonial narrative while infiltrating Muslim communities online.    
      
   I think it was high time someone warned the Ummah.
