Stephan Beyer       > The Bahais are haunted by a ghost        > they cant admit is there.               I doubt haunted is the right word. Admittedly, I don’t know many Baha’is,       but I know perhaps a dozen(?) in the real world, and am connected to a few on       social media, and none have ever given me the impression they are even aware       of Nima’s        perspective on the Bab, much less feel haunted by it.              Now, you might think you have s strong argument —I cannot comment on its       veracity— but consider this analogy: there are all sorts of persons in       obscure corners of the internet who believe they have definitive arguments       against the Christian Faith.        Whatever the veracity of those arguments might be, most Christians are unaware       of those arguments, and thus not bothered by them. The same seems to be the       case with most Baha’is and Nima’s obscure arguments.              A bad sign in this regard is the fact that Nima feels the need to overinflate       the Baha’i response to him, constantly accusing non-Baha’is of either       being crypto-Baha’is or working for the Baha’is. If there actually was       widespread concern about        Nima, he would have to invent Baha’i conspirators for his infantile online       beefs.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
