Indeed, calling me a racist/white supremacist is what I call the "blame the   
   Maine on Spain" fallacy.   
      
   Just prior to the end of the 19th Century, the United States wanted more   
   territory and power, including the island of Cuba. Problem: Spain owned Cuba.   
   Solution: wait until something bad happened there, like the blowing up of the   
   USS Maine in Havana's    
   harbor and then use that as the excuse to go to war with Spain. Never mind   
   there was no real evidence Spain actually blew up the Maine.   
      
   Likewise, you used my mistaken reference to "colored people" in a Facebook   
   post to label me a white supremacist, despite all my many public statements   
   condemning all forms of bigotry on my blog and on Facebook.   
      
   The USA bullshitted Spain and you have bullshitted me. Same difference.
