   While absolutely correct, this may seem a bit   
   cynical to the novice. Bikkhus (Monks)   
   are not allowed by their explicit rules to handle money or   
   charge for services. The person who uses their time does   
   incur a moral obligation to contribute something. A   
   normal contribution traditionally consists in the cost of a   
   meal, which used to be pegged at $15. more or less.
