'Believe me' (A trump term that truly doesn't work),       was a discussion at a dinner party last night. We had a quiet assessment of       the use of fear to try to manipulate people- and came up with a pretty great       list of other folks and regimes who have used the same method. We traced it       back to 1532 in history and literature, but of course probably farther back.       It was like having dinner with Ned making lists. Unfortunately too much wine       and a little (legal in this state) weed to actually write it down.              Kitty              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
