The DDJ begins with two lines.
   1. dao ke dao fei chang dao.
   2. ming ke ming fei chang ming.

It then can be said to go on
to speak about its ming and its dao.

The names and ways it speaks of and points to,
given the first two lines, would be, perhaps, points
   or pointers rather than rules.

Exactly how many points or pointers there are
in Daoism, depending on what is meant by that ming,
might require some accounting for taste.

   Opinions tend to vary.
Many people have at least one.
They're like organs of the body in that sense.

In the beginning was Hun Dun who had none.
Hun Dun was a good egg, and maybe a bit muddled.
Faceless, until friends began poking holes at old Hun Dun.

When they were done, Hun Dun was, more or less, dead.

Stories on Usenet can be fun.
   But are not always.

   The untold story remains.
