   Seeing people, beggars,
standing on street-corners to make a living,
I used to wonder about the places where free food is.

When I found a place, and kept their card at hand,
   all the beggars suddenly disappeared.

Reality can be a strange phenomenon
   full of strange phenomena.

Now, seeing all the homeless and beggars,
I may tell myself a story of sorts.

   Perhaps it is about them.
Yet probably it is more about me.

When I was sleeping under bridges, it wasn't all bad.
Yet, for me, it was the same as a regular job.

Then, when I got a regular job,
   sleeping under bridges reminded me,
how, as Tang may suggest, it's all the same.
