It refers to East       Asia, like China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam. Bellydancing       is from West Asia, like the Middle East, and is very       much looked down on by Orientals. Indian dancing,       perhaps, has intricate body movements, from fingertips       to toes, so may also have shoulder movements for       women, but for all I know, regular Indian women in the       US don't do shoulder movements. One very strange       movement of US women (I don't know about European       ones) is the hip swing, up and down, which Elvis Presley       also did, and Orientals never do that, unless they are       brought up in the US.              Even then, Hillary's shoulder shimmy is rare, to me,       amongst women in the US. Perhaps I don't go out       enough.              Tang Huyen              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
