   Yes, the cosmos can be unbalanced, in fact if it ever stops rebalancing   
   itself, it might very well cease to exist.   
      
   In an instrument of very high precision, like reality, it takes an   
   extremely fine adjustment to keep the whole thing from grinding itself into   
   a lump of slag.
