In some jargon-filled voids, ego mediates between id
and superego and is more of a psychic structure.

In another sense of a truth of the term, having a super
large ego one might be called a maniac of sorts.

For some paradigms, there is no self.
No true self. No false self. No ego.

In other paradigms, there is no permanent self.

When dagnabit uses his terms, he means what he means.
When you use the same terms, you mean what you mean.

Whether you both mean the same thing might mean
the weather is the same or different that you have in mind.

Water can be a great metaphor. The pure, true, self of water
might change its form but not its contents. It may be contented
to take any shape or form it's poured into no matter if it be you,
or me, or dagnabit being free of all but absolulte formlessness.

It may change from innumerable unique flakes of snow, to hail,
to make dew on the leaves it finds its self and selves on.

   Perhaps it minds, at times.
